Natalie "Tally" Nourigat was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended the University of Oregon and majored in Japanese with a minor in business.
Her senior thesis for the Clark Honors College examined sequential art and storytelling in comics. She still lives in Portland because it is pretty great.
Natalie was delighted to join Periscope Studio in 2011. She works alongside some of the best writers and artists in comics. She splits her time between commercial work, personal projects, and studio shenanigans. (You can see a list of Natalie's published works on her Books page.)
She studies French with her mother in preparation for a highly anticipated mother/daughter trip to France. Natalie enjoys travel, piano music, Ghibli movies, golf, hiking, martial arts, and coffee.
